Selma University truly believes in preparing students for the future. To aid in this effort, they are always setting up special events that will help students secure a more promising future. The month of October is no different. The Dean of Students and the Dean of Academics offered a Resume Writing Workshop for the graduating Seniors. The course was instructed by Camella Hollaway, who has plenty experience in the field of jobs, management and preparing students for the real world. Students received pamphlets on sample resumes, outlines, and resume structuring. The event was a success and students were told to turn in a resume for critiquing and corrections. The goal is to make sure all seniors, before they graduate, will know how to do a professional resume. Special Thanks goes out to the Office of Deans for sponsoring such a great event.
