The Selma University Choir, under the direction of Marie Clark, is recognized throughout Alabama for their profound performances at churches, conferences and gospel shows. By becoming one of Selma's most powerful gospel forces, they not only perform for special events and gospel shows, but you can catch them on stage every week during chapel services. This past spring the Choir celebrated their 4th annual gospel concert, in which they displayed a variety of different singing styles.
The program also took a moment to remember the lost choir members that impacted them so deeply. Among those remember there was a special dedication for the late Quentin Lane, Ernest Swift and Linda Broadnax. They each will truly be missed. The choir continues to stride, with Ms. Clark in the forefront leading the way. With the choir striding for excellence and Dejuan Martin on the keys the choir will continue to grow stronger, with each semester. Thanks, to Ms. Clark and the choir for all their hard work.
